Wrapping Up 2020 _ eMemory Solutions in Advanced Nodes

Looking back on this decade, eMemory has accomplished multiple goals and achieved essential milestones. This is largely thanks to the close and friendly cooperative relationship that eMemory has with major foundries around the world, especially in the progress of advanced manufacturing processes. We also work closely with the world’s leading foundry and invest in the development of embedded non-volatile memory as soon as the process is approaching maturity. With our excellent engineering teams, we have repeatedly achieved first cut work results, completed various verification for functionality and reliability in the shortest possible time, and met customers’ needs for embedded memory IP to help them reduce production costs and improve product yield.

eMemory’s NeoFuse OTP IP can be implemented in any advance nodes and has excellent performance even in very sensitive device models on these platforms. Its unique cell structure can avoid low yield issues caused by process instabilities. In 2014, eMemory was invited to publish and reveal our NeoFuse technology at the world’s top seminar “Symposia on VLSI Technology”, which just shows that its excellent characteristics have attracted the attention of global experts. Since 2016, eMemory has been deploying NeoFuse on advanced FinFET platforms. Qualifications of NeoFuse on 16nm, 12nm and 7nm FinFETs have been completed successfully and are already used in many customer product designs. Moreover, the 7nm optimization process and 6nm and 5nm FinFET processes were also verified in the third quarter of this year, and qualification is expected to complete by 2021-2022.

While advanced manufacturing processes continue to meet these novel application areas and exponentially increase IC development cost, the need for security protection is imperative. To achieve identity verification between components, secure boot, data and transmission protection, and anti-counterfeit, security requirements are imperative in various applications that use advanced manufacturing processes. In addition to NeoFuse, eMemory also provides NeoPUF, a high-security PUF IP. Whether it is used as the core technology of PUF-based security solutions, or integrated with NeoFuse OTP to provide customers with comprehensive, multi-functional, complete, and third-party certified solutions, all these solutions have again proven eMemory’s strong ability to provide reliable and flexible eNVMs, as well as security IPs for manufacturing processes.

eMemory has always aimed to provide customers with high performance, high reliability, interface friendly, and comprehensive service technologies. We have continuously lived up to client expectations and maintained our leading position in the industry. Furthermore, we collaborated with PUFsecurity, our wholly owned subsidiary established in 2019, to jointly launch PUF-based solutions. With NeoPUF technology as the core, these solutions fully integrate OTP, PUF, tRNG, Crypto engines, secure core, and security protection functions to provide efficient and cost-friendly technologies for SoC clients. We look forward to what we will accomplish in the future since the development of new technologies will only provide us with endless opportunities to serve our clients.
